Immediately I was unimpressed with the finish. The frame even had a pretty deep grind mark in it that probably happened when an overzealous employee got slap happy …The smooth back strap is definitely a Model 58 feature. A real tell on this gun is the juncture between the barrel and frame. The Model 58 frame isn't grooved for a barrel rib and is also lower than the barrel rib on a target sighted barrel. The 610 can shoot the 40 caliber ammo and I have put some 40's through the gun but not enough to get excited about. The 10 mm has a bit more zip, particularly if reloading to wring out what the 10 is really capable of.
