r/granturismo • Polyphony spends so much effort creating a huge array of premium car parts and engines, which are only really useful in single player. But then they neglected to put effort into expanding and improving single player, so now that huge mountain of parts and engines is basically irrelevant and useless

Gran Turismo 7 is Too Easy. I have played every GT since 3 and I always have a huge issue with the difficulty. 5 and 6 were a little better as they added the PP index but races were still far too easy. I was hoping this would change with 7 but it hasn't. Playing with all driving aids off and on the hardest difficulty you have to be WELL under ... My biggest gripe, and one that I haven't seen mentioned in any review, is the track/car content. There's just a handful of new tracks, all returns from previous GT games. And the car list is underwhelming with regards to newer models. Only 1 Mercedes newer than 2017, the newest production BMW is the M4 from 2014. GT3 hands down was the best in the series imo. While the car and track selection wasnt as massive as future titles, the game was just fun.
