Aug 19, 2018 · The RC51 isn't a Harley chuff-a-lump. This engine prefers 3000 revs or higher (preferably 3500 or more), which is a challenge in stop and go, or slow traffic. The stock final ration of 16/40 is too low for the engine, with the most popular final ration typically being 15/41 or mathematically similar to place the engine in a better rev range.

Rc51 forums. If it was the latter you can take some needle nose and pinch down the spade connectors in the fuse holder so it grips it more tightly. You can do the same in the single pin connector just down stream. If it's blowing the fuse, check that you haven't pinched the fuel pump wiring under the tank. I will try those ideas guys.

Pull the bleeder screw out, put your thumb over the hole in the caliper. Use your other two thumbs (and fingers) and put a couple of wraps around the threads. Jumper the two pins together and turn on the ignition switch. It will then run through all the known problem codes (if more than one) with a pause in between. Count the number of blinks for each code.
